One feature that is quite useful is that you can evacuate the base without having a "UMMU black hole".

lol. Big army.
And Dan, it is AI as in Artificial Intelligence with English. I assume French is like plenty of other languages where it is
switched around and just pronounced a little different.

If there is so much of "plenty" this mean that it's English that is switched around  (joking)

Your right anyway "Intelligence Artificielle"=IA  "Artificial Intelligence"=AI

Any pilot will tell you...You don't turn the rheostat all the way up anyway. I'm sure in space it is a real nightvision killer.

No Dan, thank You for all the efforts you did for the DGII, III, and now even IV. We couldn't beta test
if you didn't start everything huh?

So again, thank You! :friend:

What's up with Dan today?  I haven't seen him post once, when he usually posts 5*10^9 times a day.

Oh god.  Don't tell me he's actually human and......has a life?!  No!  Where is the programming machine we all know
and love?  ;)

Leg perhaps?

Had an hard day, my wife's computer didn't booted anymore and as she need
it for work I spent all my day on it. (graphic card out of service)
This took about one hour but while I was here, I cleaned fixed and optimised
a lot of stuff. Last defrag just finished, her computer run now 50% faster and
all data are secured by encryption and backup.

And while I was here, I applied some optimisations as well to mine ;)

A clean PC is the prerequisit for a good work.

Dan

We have a saying in the states, and I don't know if this will translate well into French, but here we go:

If Momma ain't happy, ain't nobody happy... If Daddy ain't happy, ain't nobody care

"SpaceTech  Engineering Director... The CEO needs you immediately for emergency executive level troubleshooting! Get down
here on the double".

Hope Momma is happy!    ;)

As a test, I translated it to French, then English, then Japanese, then English, then Russian, then English again, and well...

Quote
If Momma not is happy, then if happy avalanche which not is... by father not happy, then uneasiness no one

And on the subject of translation, I went into one of the French forums, and went into one of Mustard's topics, looked at one
of Dan's posts, translated it, and:

Quote
Well what I thought: “oapiMeshMaterial” with Ca I am almost certain that one can make the progressive ice. If ever in
a few months you are bored, you will know what to make;) EDICT: YESSS!! I have just tested on the DGIV, Ca walks! The ice
which appears it very gradually is completely possible into 4 line of codes. (but is necessary to modify the meshes a little)
With a parameter in more in the scenario one could launch the scenario with any degree of ice and which would go while
increasing slowly according to time. (and would decrease quickly after launching) Me from there besides at will will add of
this step the option of the pane opacifiable for the DGIV;) DaN

From what I can understand, I think Dan may be implementing ice or something similar on DGIV.

Is this correct, Dan?

That is for the beer cooler modifications. When you open the cooler, it is going to be like leaving the Prelude II base:

"Capt. Atilla has cracked into a cold one"

"Capt. Atilla has completed a six-pack and is now drunk"   :drunk:

"Capt. Atilla has vomited in his space suit"

My silly band directer, Mrs.Baker(aka Pattycake aka band momma aka big mean white woman) always says that... and
it's true! Although when she isn't happy, suddenly everyone can play much much better if she decides to threaten them.

First feature done: Window ray filter

What is neat is that the  change of opacity take about
5-6 seconds and is smooth.

About message in info display is this correct?

"Windows ray filter OFF"
"Windows ray filter MEDIUM"
"Windows ray filter HIGH"

I hesitate, to increase a bit the cabin temp depending of the filter state,
one may be in shadow, (impossible to detect) that would not be consistent.

I noticed one things howewer with DGIII : without doc many people missed
a lot of features as for example heart beat increase depending of G and such
subtle things.

Dan,

:top:

"Widows Ray Filter" is a fine description. I was thinking you may want to change it to "Solar Ray Filter",  but newbies may
get confused as to exactly what is filtering solar rays.

I think it is a great feature and if the transition is as smooth as you say it is, it is going to add yet more cool features
and fun to what is already an awesome package.

Cheers,
