I get a feeling that with all these new features that keep being added, that it will never be released!

I think it's beyond what everybody has expected as of now. Crew abort, the ability to damage the ship, containers, a cargo
bay, hover doors, turbo packs, new autopilot functions, plus a ton of other things I've forgotten. I'm amazed already. At
this rate, nothing would be left for the DGV.

When will feature request stop being added to the ship, the final bugs worked out, and release occur? I'm sure that there are
a ton of people who have wanted to fly the DGIV for months.

I know I do.

My todo list is almost empty ;)

When I'll be done with the new Mmu (two days) I'll review the beta thread
to see if I missed bug, then release a new beta (as mmu system
have changed this should be tested)

Then write of a (small) doc (new scenarios explain almost all)
write of more scenarios (I'll ask to tester if they can write some intteresting
missions)

Beta, with last bug cleared than if no serious bug
gold beta (open to public) and Release...

Dan

Guilty your honor... but DGIV wouldn't be DGIV without all this time spent on it ;)

This said "two day" was reffering only to the time needed to finish the new DGIV Mmu
feature, not the DGIV, for Mmu I think it's a realist delay.

Yeah. Many many many new features with this one. Eventually you'll just have to resist taking these requests and
ideas and release a version and take a nice long break.

Yeah, there are people waiting on FsX Passegners to be released... (not me...I'm not buying FsX). Plus he has at least one
more update of the FS9 version of FsPassengers to deal with...

Poor Dan, lotsa work and no breaks for awhile...

If this trend continues, we might hit the feature singularity!

So let me get this right: (if all goes according to plan) there'll be one more beta which will be to test the MMU, then a
golden beta and then the release?  Or will there be two more betas before the golden one?

Man I gotta love this site's wide array of smielies.

there will probably be beta's until Dan decides its just about done, and has nothing more to add and then he'll release the
golden beta.

Like the old saying: "It will be ready when its ready"
