:off:  BTW how is he leg?

Growing   don't know exactly word but all blood goes in the foot when I sit and stay here... almost doubled
volume... I had to wait three day before operation (surgery bloc was busy) with enormous leg, this may explain.

But I can walk without cane and work... almost all what I ask for now

Releasing beta right now... up in few mn

Just a little idea, how about having the DGIV (or V :damn: ) have an escape crew capsule
( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Escape_crew_capsule ) instead of having the pilot eject and the crew jump out the doors?

The area highlighted in red could shoot off.

Just an idea...

That's a pretty good idea. Maybe combine the it with jumping out later. ;)
Well, parachutes work too.

That's a pretty bad idea... (also already submitted several time)

With cabin, crew eject space, dock, cargo bay there is already almost no room
left for system that I've heard are needed in vessel, engine, tanks etc etc...

Eject of cabin system are very heavy and take a lot of place because each system must
be backuped to work in the ejected cabin, one would ask also a chute (were to put it ?)
Plus What one would want to do with the ejected cabin ? no thrusters, no engine, hours
of work and hundred line of code to change all behaviour of panel to work with ejected
cabin only.

I know in some maner DGIV is not very realistic due mainly about space to put
systems, but there is a limit. so I don't want to spend hundred hours of work for
something that don't add much, is rarely used and would be completely unrealistic.

(Cargo Bay even unrealistic have the imense avantage to add a lot of fun for
missions, you don't fly anymore "useless" but to bring something somewhere)

Besides, the crew jumping out of the doors is really cool animation!

I'm working on a scenario right now where the crew doesn't quite make it to orbit, so they eject, grab a crew member, and
have to strap the turbopack on and boost to an acceptable orbit before they burn up in the atmosphere.

So far, I burn to a crisp every time.  :hot:

Cheers,

Would it be possible in future versions to eject the crew from the doors without having the pilot eject? I know its s
strange concept, but it'd be a nice idea to be able to do a 'paramilitary drop'.

When the DGIV et al go gold, will you be giving out the source for the code input function that the MTKS uses (the
[F12]...[F11] thing)?

I can think of some cool scenarios besides dropping soldiers.
But usually landing works better than throwing your friends out while moving, lol...
Oh, well, quicker and works well if you need to get them to an area with no runway.

Done,

Work only if you EVA at more than 30m from ground, this to avoid that chute are armed
and that trigger when you fly with Turbopack.

Ok, new texture 512 (by default Ummu will be installed with low version 256 but 512 will be available)

Notice the fingers blue and the fact that we can put text and logos on each pocket and on helmet. :hot:

Dont be lazy, get the GIMP! It's free, and can edit images like photoshop. Besides, using paint would make your tetures look
like crap and be about 100x harder.

May I please have a link to the download? And there is no need to call me lazy.

I'm too lazy too.  I'm sure it's a very difficult and long link... one that requires hours of searching.  Oh, wait.. here it is:
http://www.gimp.org/   (click download from main page, if you have the energy)

:google: is your friend ...despite his cranky demeanor.

Well, retros shouldn't be used except for when landed, but it's an idea.
