Hey all,

I have been looking in on the forum and trying to post a few things here and there, but has anyone heard from Dan. I noticed
he last posted something back at the end of January. I know he is recovering from his fall, but I am curious to know if he is
feeling well, having complications, need a six-pack of anything....

Dan- if your out there. I hope all is well. I look forward to hearing from you

Cheers,

Yaaaay!  Dan's okay and still monitoring [/glow]![/color]  :)
Please do not get back into the physical demands of pounding yourself through the PC logic block of coding :wall:
until you're able to hike the swiss mountains again and enjoy the spectacle of nature for a while.

Good to hear that you're recovering, Dan. I'm with Reekchaa, no coding until you can get out and enjoy the outside world..
All code and no play, make Dan a very unhappy boy..

Great to hear from you Dan.  Sounds like it was quite a nasty break of the leg (So that is what my bones look like???).  I
certainly will have one for you tonight, or two, or maybe three. My prayers are for your continued recovery.

:friend:

Kind regards from across the pond,

For those that love surgery here is a picture of my leg...

I'm on the good way to become the first bionic man in the Orbiter community.
At least I have a leg in titan now... a good start

Ooooh!... That's one thick rod through your Tibia.
Have they given you a time when they can start taking out the hardware ?
More gory details, please!  :)

Estimated time of full recovery: April-July 2007

75% chance of full recovery after the release of orbiter 2007.

What is the percentage of recovery?

Those look like screws. And by the size of that rod, I'd guess it's permanent. Please correct me if I'm incorrect Dan. BTW
glad to hear you're recovering Dan.

All this suffering to have a leg on Titan?

Sheesh! And I though I was the tough one when I broke a thermometer and stepped into the liquid metal so that I could set
foot on Mercury...

Ouch!!! That certainly was not a hair-line fracture. Looks like you were very close to blowing out the knee. No wonder the
long recovery time.

Ouch!!  It hurts to see and imagine how could it hurt.
Going bionic looks like it was kind of a serious and painful accident.

I'm waiting to hear exactly what Dan was DOING to have that happen. Pretty bad looking although it appears his leg
is together and at least not in small pieces. Be careful landing that DGIV while you are still tampering with the
systems. ;) Remember: ESC ESC ESC ;) Would be nice to be able to do that or press T or R and have life go by faster
or slower...

Jer: This is an off-topic post its self, but some advice. Typically someone wouldn't quote that.(I don't think) 1. It adds
space with a pic and all. 2. He is the last one to have posted. If you post, it can be assumed you are responding to
the last poster.
