I was just reading Harmsway's reentry tutorial and i started to think about how their are so many tutorials out there that tell you how to do a reentry with the DGIII.
But then i realized that all of these tutorials, or at least most of them, only deal with the scenario when the DGIII is docked to mir. And i was thinking that it would be
great if their was someway to make a new screen on the dgIII internal monitors, the one that has the de orbiting display and stuff like that. THis new screen would tell
you when to perform your reentry burn so that you can reach you destination (selected in the map MFD). The display would tell u when to burn and when to cutoff your
burn so that you enter into a .70 degree reentry angle, if you coming from orbit, or what ever reentry angle would allow you to not burn up when you are coming from
the moon or other planets.

I like to use scenarios that are included with Orbiter.  With reentry it's not as important what station you are coming
from as it is what base you are landing at. It is true there are addon MFDs that help with that. I believe my tutorial
mentions the BaseMFD.

All you have to do is burn when dist. from cape canaveral comes back down to 18.32, engage pro104spec40 when
altitude hits 100k, and manage the aoa to keep the red square on the target dot of the cape.  Also, be sure your
weight is 15500.  This works for me 100% of the time, unless I try to pull 10g's, or try to do a twist or a loop :drink:
8).  And disengage the autopilot when V=900m/s.
