This bug is kinda hard to explain...
I just started the "The tranworld express company" scenario and wanted to dock the two ships together.
I proceeded to steer the first one over to the other very carefully and slowely.
The ship docked and then all of a sudden I was shot into space, all my crew died, I started spinning, and all the
instruments started giving bogus info.

I don't know if this is just me, but I don't think so...

you can't dock when you're at ground, it's an Orbiter limitation

I got another strange behavior of DGIII, it adds great realism not allowing any refuel before you are docked or
landed but try the IO rescue mission scenarios and you'll find that once you dock with another DGIII you will be able
to refuel but not from the other ship, in other words the fuel buils up from nothing so you can completely refuel both
ships making things A LOT EASIER. Anyway I felt like cheating.

Just dump the fuel from the other one once your fueled up, at least then your not cheating =)
