The level of insult is in direct porportion to the validity of the person doing the insulting. If Dan or you or one of the
regulars insulted me I might take it much harder than if it came from some unregistered yahoo who has started
flames on half a dozen threads. From someone like this it's more amusing than insulting.
Heh, yeah, this is also why I (and I'm sure Dan as well) don't immediatelly treat such a person as a troll. First
because such an accusation coming from a moderator is more severe, second because people have different ways of
communicating and they don't necesserily mean to be impolite and third, almost every forum community after a while
become a tight-packed, hard-to-enter little fortress, so people try to fit in somehow and some are not very good at it,
even though they may not be bad people...

Some users use friendly approaches, some use shock to enter. For this particular forum I think a friendly approach
has always worked and I don't see why we should bend over backwards for persons who don't feel friendliness is
appropriate..

But somes bad things may happen, for exemple if you switch often
from one planet to another because you have several vessel in your
scenario the playlist will always restart.. that would not look cool.

but at least it could save which MP3 it was playing last when you switch to another planet and when you switch back
it starts playing this last MP3.

The insult was meaningless, coming from the source it did. It was the racist content that finally got to me.

Considering the crap that has been going on on this planet in recent years because of religious
particularism/tribalism/nationalism/racism, if someone cannot see that those attitudes are out of place, I have nothing but
pity for them.  It's time we all grew up and gained some level of intelligence and sophistication.

Well, not me. ;)

I'm not sophisticated. never will be. I might pretend to be, but I like soda. just plain soda,  not an intellectual's "diet
cherry vanilla no caffiene soda" that has God knows what's in it, besides aspartame* artificial cherry and vanilla
flavoring, and red dye no 5 instead of 22.

just the same, I like laws to be clear and precise in common language.

so if clause 25 Rule 7 subsection B sentence three on Page 28 line 22 violates Part 3A of section 21, and more
specifically that part contained in the clause as outlined in paragraph 4 sentence three, when it states quoting Part
29 that such practices not specifically authorized by law in part 14, section 69 or Subsection  13 line number 99,  tells
me that I have to have a mandatory national security identity card, I'd prefer it to tell me that in plain english,
dammit! :( That way I can resist it better.

Nah, Starlost wasn't talking about that. In the department he was referring to you are quite sophisticated. That
being tolerant, live and let live, accept others as they come etc...

Oh and don't worry about plain language. If you don't manage to comply with the legalities and manage to wonder
off from the path of LAW (not Justice as StarLost correctly pointed out somewhere), eventually the cops will take time
and explain it to you. They have a very predictable way of using plain local language to interpret the laws to
unsophisticated people in such a manner that they clearly understand the underlying message and their lack of
choice regarding the issue at hand.
