It is apparent, with the number of Delta Glider variants now available, that a consistent pattern for naming them is needed,
to differentiate them.  This is part of why I began the "Guide to the Vessels of Orbiter", so developers had one site so we
could all keep track.

Dan you've put in enough changes to the DG3 that it warrants a new designation.  Could be something like the Americans do
(DG3-A, DG3-B, etc) or how the British do it (DG3 Mk1, DG3 Mk2, etc.).  I'm not sure how other nations do it as I'm most
familiar with these two.

On your next version, if you call it the DG4 it might cause some confusion, as the DG4 is mentioned as part of the stock
Orbiter package.

Of course, you could do a little self-promotion and call it the DG-DP  (but then someone will ask where the other docking
port is ;) ).

I think that would be even more confusing... about 7000
peoples downloaded the DGIII and even more the old DGII
so this one is well know under this name.

DGIV (not to confuse with DG4) would be my next add-ons
but more probably I would choose another brand new name.

Well, with all honesty, I think that it's fairly easy to differentiate between the default dg's and dan's dg.

What with ROMAN numerals, who would mistake that for regular numbers? :)

anyway, if you want my opinion, if you're not going to update the DG3, and just come out with another newer
version, why not just keep the old dg3 name, and spare certain people splitting headaches?

Unless you're trying to win people over using the AOL method of impressing people with big numbers... ;)

(not that there's anything wrong with that if used in moderation!)
