It is apparent, with the number of Delta Glider variants now available, that a consistent pattern for naming them is needed,
to differentiate them. This is part of why I began the "Guide to the Vessels of Orbiter", so developers had one site so we
could all keep track.
Dan you've put in enough changes to the DG3 that it warrants a new designation. Could be something like the Americans do
(DG3-A, DG3-B, etc) or how the British do it (DG3 Mk1, DG3 Mk2, etc.). I'm not sure how other nations do it as I'm most
familiar with these two.
On your next version, if you call it the DG4 it might cause some confusion, as the DG4 is mentioned as part of the stock
Orbiter package.
Of course, you could do a little self-promotion and call it the DG-DP (but then someone will ask where the other docking
port is

).
