i've had the same problem, it has something to do with the MP3 part.

As soon as i get into space and go to external camera, orbiter crashes to desktop while loading the mp3 music file
(default os music)

i managed to fix this by completely disabling Mp3 music in OrbiterSound's config.

Windows XP, Althlon 1300, 312 mb ram, geforce 4mx, directx 9.0c

No it has something to do with the panel, In thought this bug was cleared
in the new Orbiter but it seem it's not.

Notice it happen also with the stock vessel. when you switch
beetween SHUTTLA and SHUTTLEPB.

For any strange reason it doesn't hapen all the time once you eaved
the guy if it don't crash on F1 the rest of the mission will be without
problem.

Tried to find a solution but from my test it seem the problem come from
Orbiter with panel ressources. (the fault is in imD3d7 rendering error)

As this crash doesn't happen at anytime it's only a coincidence I managed to reproduce
the crash 100% without OrbiterSound and everytime going external with F1
I reproduced it also with only the shuttla and shuttlebp

I have this problem too. It's so annoying, I was hoping to explore the moon after landing nicely on a landing pad at
BB in EVA but Orbiter did a CTD! I wonder what on Earth(moon) is causing this bug? :grrr:

I didn't had this problem anymore with the 050126 patch ... I tried several time, no crash.
Perhaps it's not cleared but perhaps yes, it would be a good news.

Can you test and give feedback about that ?
