Sorry, but that's out of the question! It's the best, though now it needs some more features (like a virtual cockpit and
all the other stuff the stock DGIII has)

UNDERSTATEMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That word, in itself, is an understatement!

(mind you this is the forum that belongs to the creator of the DG3, so of course, we're going to be a little biased, but
who wouldn't be? :):):))

Although other add-ons are catching up with the DGIII, Dan's sparked a race of super add-ons!

And bad for them, the developers

which in turn, has a negative aspect for us, who happen to know a certain developer....

Truth is bad, but lies are worse.

P.S. I just came up with that.

An overwhelmingly loud and persistently spoken lie, will for all practical reasons, eventually be thought of as truth!

(I made that one up, although I'm sure Goebels invented it and Bush perfected it) :)

I'm not a religuos personbut I reckon we should re-enact a certain part of the bible. The part where that dude speaks to the
burning Bush. Hehe, that was terrible, sorry.

On a related note (DG3, not :off: discussion)...
I am looking for the specific dynamic pressures that cause the various parts not already listed on the Vessel Limitation
Chart (MiniHUD Mode 5) to fail?
These parts include (but are not limited to):
-Nosecone
-Inner/Outer airlock doors
-Canopy
-Control Surfaces (not the airbrake, as that's listed in the chart)

Rough velocity estimates (on Earth at or near MSL as Dan does) would be helpful as well, but primarily the dynamic pressure
is what I'm concerned with.

I'm customizing my MiniHUD and want a more complete Vessel Limitation Chart.

Does this help ? (rough past from code)

if(gear_status != DOOR_CLOSED&&Data.DynPressure>38000)
if(radiator_status != DOOR_CLOSED&&Data.DynPressure>500)
if(brake_status != DOOR_CLOSED&&Data.DynPressure>45000)  // airbrake
if(nose_status != DOOR_CLOSED&&Data.DynPressure>500&&Fail.NoseCone==FALSE)
if(Cockpit_status != DOOR_CLOSED&&Data.DynPressure>600&&Fail.Canopy==FALSE)
if(Ant.antenna_status != DOOR_CLOSED&&Data.DynPressure>400&&Fail.Antenna==FALSE)

Notice those are the warning value, they fail a litle further (not much)

hehe, I was frustratingly starting a search, because I KNOW we talked about this before :)

You should add these values to the FAQ...

Yes Dan, that should help quite a bit. Right at the moment I don't have the time to incorporate the data, but I'll certainly
add it when I have time.
Thanks.
