Hi all
I have checked around, but I don't have found a similar problem in the forum.
When I enter crew's names, all seems ok, but when I edit them, there appear strange characters.
Of course try to edit manually the config file ends in a crash.
Any suggestion?
Thanks, bye!

Paolo

I have the problem of corrupt crew names. I don't have the crash, but whenever I add names as soon as I exit the config exe
and reopen it the names are full of strange characters and repeats of parts. Like you described. I also get the stange names
in Orbiter. Krytom also has this problem to a small degree.

Any answers?

Hmmmm....interesting.  Is it possible it's something to do with keyboard configurations or the Windows language
configuration on your computer(s)?

Glad to see I'm not the only one :-)
Further details: I enter two passengers' names, the second is smaller than the first.
When I edit, the second name is filled with characters from the first name until the first name's length!
Besides, the age's column grows with a number that is twice the last number entered.

Tricky, isn't? ;-)

Hm, this is weird. I usually edit the names in the scenario file directly...

I do seem to recall a discussion about this a while ago. There seems to be a problem with "empty" spaces. It seems
the program "fills-in" what's missing..

Do any of you use any kind of non-standard characters in the names? French, Slav or German stuff?

Nope, just my name, that of my nephew ... plain italian names with latin characters, without accents, quotes, etc.
