Yes, undoubtedly looks cool. I'm going to try it out now.
Retrying my question, anyone want to betatest the addon?

As I have DGIII skin, I'll also try to make a ShuttleA2 skinjob.

Hey,

Sorry for the delay. I just moved and I don't have Internet at home yet. I will see if I have any template for the
Shuttle A2.. I did a skin a while ago.

Do the skins show up well? Any corrections you need? Just say :)

Cheers,

I found the Shuttle-A2 textures and my PSD file for them. I will do the skinjobs for the shuttle-a2 in the next few
days.. Have any suggestions for the shuttle names? :)

I might do another skin for the DG3.. a sort of executive DG, to transport managers and staff. :) A little nicers colors :)

There is an austrian horse called a 'Pinzgauer' (pronounced: pinzgau) that is known to be a strong and sturdy
workhorse. This seems to describe the Shuttle-A2 just fine. Perhaps that could be one name.

Ooooh, I love coming up with names for things!

Here's some off the top of my head:

Aldebaran
Algol
Verne
Borealis
Hermes
Rigel
Escher
Starscape
Ut Astra ("To the stars" in Latin)
Pleiades

C3PO, yes of course.. I've been looking at the textures last night.. For some reason I don't get much of an
improvement if I convert the texture to 512.. But there is a considerable drop in FPS (about 10-20).. There will be a
lot of work, there are plenty of details I will need to sharpen up.

She_Da_Lier - you got it. Centaur it is. A combination of human mind and purse horse power :)

Andyman: Hm, yes, I agree! If one is Centaur the other can be Pinzgauer.. Is this perhaps another name for
Lipitzaner - the (usually) white sturdy horse, with hairy hoofs, used to pull plowes and the like, which is kind of
disputed as to where it first came from (is claimed by Slovenia, Austria, Spain and maybe some other countries as
well)?

Cheers,
Janez

I actually know about pinzgauers (I beleive they are usually brown) due to the fact that there is a swiss army truck
named after them, that my family just happens to own one of. If you do a google search for pinzgauer,  you should
find information about the truck and the horse.

Ok, I put the logo on the other side of the miner and added some "nav lights" on it as Doc suggested.

Oh, you got them to work in the dark? GREAT !! :)

Last night I was testing out the Clydesdale heavy freighter. I'm making it my new main interplanetary carrier. And the
skins are REALLY easy to change too :)

I've sent you the updated landing pad by mail. You need Photoshop 6, and you just turn on and off the relevant layer
set - daytime look or nighttime look and save it as .dds.

Cheers,
Janez

Thanks, I get your email.
I've got old Photoshop 4 but I'm able to open it.
I'll try to work on it if I have some time, but I'm not very good at Photoshop. :(

Also a popular utility vehicle in use with some armies. The Swiss Army used it extensively until about 1995. Nowadays
they're still around used mainly with the Dragon antitank missile simulator, as "simulated" tanks.

Indeed, the United States special forces units use them occasionally, primarily because they can fit them inside of an
MH-53-J Helicopter. The british were also seen using them in Iraq recently. What does the swiss army use nowdays?
