     Picto,

Your ORTF Thumbnail is , how to say, completely magnificent; or décadent  8) ? When i was young , it is not so far , i
had a watch , with this three ellipses , remaining Telstar  ( and oeuf course : The Shadows ) and others gentil  futilities (
is it the same word that in french ?  and if it is not , i'm just creating it - thank's for the credit    ) . Them
- the ellipses - on a ground, a back, ( le fond donc ) , in the watch i want to say  , gold coloured. Eurovision ! waouh ! :)

And waiting for the skins who seems take consistence ( consistence? just an other one... :applause: *) here.

( It was my green smiley's day .Tomorrow , yellow maybe ;)  if you please.

And i though that i will have to wait the release of LMC complete to fly dirty LMC but

     here they are...
     on Horbithangar...

     it's Christmas Picto  .

So, i want to make an exception: tomorrow - it's half past midnight- is today ( for the smileys i mean, and maybe just
for me  in the world...).So, i 'll stay in green. :applause: for the skins.

I'm doing another version of LMCs...reentry burned skins...
And i'm trying to make a burn, dust, dirt your own skins in just two clicks...a B D D D I Y.....
It will be a photoshop format...just as the Dan'S DGIIIskins SDK...
But, i'm surprised that it doesn't work for all colours...I will find a way to do an universal dirty "transparant copy"...for
all DGIII skins...
Thanks for the "decadent".:)...Happy new year.....Fort.....

That's pretty cool, apart from the front is clean.

I'm not sure to understand ...Do you mean on AtomX one?...and do you mean i forget the dgmkIII=name=5.dds...my
english is so poor.....:doubt:
If it is the case...just take the skin of dgmk3_Pirate_5.DDS...
It just works fine to give a bad aspect to the front of DGIII.......:)

Yes Atom, it is too clean...

I think I'm on the good way to do the DirtyskinDGIIISDK...

Here is a test I've done on Transworld...
It's only a transparant copy on the clean TransWorld...like the BaseLine Copy on Dan's SDK for example...without
much final improvements....
In a few days...may be....;)

One thing - I don't think LMC dg's will be much reentered as it operates mainly on moon and Earth's orbit.

Hello everybody...

Thanks for encouragements....

Fort, I think it's on the good way...
She Da Lier,  I agree with you... I'm listening to you... May be it will be better to make two or three transparant copy
that users can take to have the right effect...

I'm trying to make a Dusty one...
A burny one...
And a rusty one...

May be it will be interesting to see real ships photos...to adjust effects to reality...

No Atom, this is not my job...it's a hobby...;)

Comments are welcome. Details to iron out. Like blue color on the structural tubes and the color around the top of
the cabin...

Cheers,

tnx picto.

Anyway, the way I do it, is I just open up the .dds files in Photoshop and then.. guess what is what :) When I identify
all the relevant locations in the texture I apply my massive designing skill (HA HA) and create a layer over the original
adding all that I want :) I also have to erase the things that are not required.. Like the old numbers :)

I don't concern myself with *pompous voice* unimportant things like UV forms */pompous voice* :) Agree
though, if you start a texture from scratch (which I never did) those are critical.

Not yet avaliable for download. I need to finish some details and change anything the commander of LMC (my
client) doesn't like :)

When I'm done, I'll try to make an SDK for it. I remember C3PO and some others being interested in it. Then maybe
I'll enhance it to 512, but THAT is a lot of work, because you need to enhance every bit of detail on the hull and
possibly add some.

Do it....do it....those textures gives me "headacke", "headache", "mal à la tête"....I don't know how to write it..... :)
and again.... applauses for your " massive designing skill "...  :)

Doc, they are cool. There is a slight complication with LMC add-on and new orbiter, but soon I'll be ready to release it.
When you are done pls email me.

A small thing please - could you make those cargo boxes little more dusty?

dusty? :) I'll try. Actually this was actually one of the details I wanted to iron out. Make it look more dirty :)

Picto, help. How do you make it look realistic, like you did?? Also I think I will have to lower the reflectivness of the cargo pod material. It shines too much as it is now.

Thanks.........very much....  ;)

Here it is...set it more transparant...in JPG it is not ???? Don't know why....
Take pieces of that and try different way of fusion...
On light colours... exclusion is the best i've found now...
Tell me if you find better ways...

Cheers
