Like the topic says ;)  Just wondering how you did the strobe lights in the DG2/3....I'm thinking I'd like to try to do the
same thing and modify Orbiter's landing pads to have strobes marking the landing octagon's vortices....

Strobe are small thruster with zero thrust that I light or not every second...

Those are coded in DLL and only available for the vessels...
No way sorry...

Not quite the right question Dave, but the right answer as far as ships go.

Maybe this will help (and I'll ask it again in the M6 forums) 'cause I wanna know, too:

How do you code the animation light sequences on airport runway approach lights, so that we can apply it to any kind of
blinking lights (buildings, bridges, landing pads, etc.)?

Ah in this "ground" domain my knowledge is poor... to make short: I don't have a clue.

I think the aproach light are a pre-defined object that is not really editable
for other purpose... I might be wrong but the fact that we don't see
"christmas tree" base make me think that I'm not far.
