Back in the community again after a long hiatus (the name above really says it all).

I've reloaded Orbiter, including the OrbiterSound2.5, DGIII, TransX 3.06 and the Main Asteroids add-ons.

Using the Mars Scenery scenario as my starting point,  I'm trying for a flight from Mars to Ceres.  Using TransX, I get past
the first Escape step OK, but when trying to target for Ceres, I can access all of the planets in the original sol.cfg file
(yes I amended it to include the asteroids) from Mercury to Uranus with a couple of "Unknowns" thrown in, but the asteroids
do not appear to be accessible.

Anyone have any thoughts on the matter?

Also, as an aside, I noted another older posted where someone had problems trying to get out of the safe mode.  I have
experienced this also.  When I enter the scenario, the EPU lights are not green and no switches will respond (included Batt,
EPU and APU start).  No amount of waiting helps either.  Only solution I've found was to exit the scenario, exit Orbiter and
restart.  It still seems to be hit or miss whether the scenario opens with the EPU lights green.

Any comments?

Good to be back...

Regards

Kenny

For anyone who has looked at this, Duncan pointed me toward the solution.  It seems that when I downloaded the Main Asteroids
addon from AVSIM and then extracted them, that the configuration file names whould extract but the file contents were lost.
Viewing the files in Winzip, showed the contents were there, but got lost in the ether on the extraction.  I had to cut and
paste between Winzip's internal ascii viewer and my file editor to get the file contents into the right places.

In viewing other posts in the Orbiter forums, I noted that at least one other person has experienced this same problem with a
download from AVSIM (in that case it was the Pluto addon).  It might be an AVSIM problem, but I note that I know that I do
have a virus difficulty on my network, at the moment.  It has managed to trash two antivirus programs and Notepad as well as
possiby causing problems with Winzip.

Ah well ...  c'est la guerre.

Dia dhuit, tout la monde...
