Doppler effect seem to work now... pffff hard time here   :grr: :wall:
Anyway external fly-by view look nice with the sound fading
slowly by distance and the doppler effect when you fly close to the camera :)

Nice also the internal sound that don't play anmore in external view (aircond
ambient sound, cockpit sound) Switching from internal to external
is more realist now.

DON'T ASK me delay due to distance (speed of sound 340m/s)
the code is enough complicated like that with all the new stuff
for the Vessel sound SDK.

I just hope I didn't introduced serious bug...

Doppler effect??!! :applause:

Gonna be doing a lot of VAB flybys with that. :):)

Just thinking. It'd be fun to have a sonic boom when in ouside view and passing Mach 1.

mhhh :wonder:

If I doesn't hang myself before tomorrow I may have a look at this :)
Not a real calculated sonic cone wave anyway, just a fake workaround uh.

How can I do that ? ... mhhh :wonder:  I should test some idea..

I stole all your ropes just in case. :)

I was just thinking about a simple "Boom" when in the outside view and passing Mach 1. Wouldn't
have to be fancy. I was just thinking it'd be fun to do on a VAB fly by. It'd also be nice on reentry
when you get down where the atmosphere is dense enough. It'd add something to the outside
views. Orbiter sound could just monitor the atmosphere density and speed and produce
the "Boom" sound when you pass Mach 1. It'd also be fun for some of the add on jets that are
cropping up with the new atmospheric handling in Orbiter.

Yes the boom is a tricky problem I was thinking like you:
when it pass mach 1 in outside view I shedule the boom
to play in T+CameraDistance/340Ms.

This is completely unrealistic but I think it will "sound" good.

Reechka: what was really nice with this boat was that we had
a... stove, hugh improvment over our previous one for winter :)

Dan, have you thought any over how you should make the something as big as the shuttle make
the twin sonic-boom? It would really nice to hear that one you are about to enter the HAC for final
alignment with the runway.
