I know, someone did a WinAmp MFD awhile ago...tried that.  It's okay.  But we need a real MP3
playing RADIO.  We need one that lists all the MP3s in a specified directory on the MFD screen,
with the buttons on the side corresponding to each song, and a "Next Page" button to list the
next five songs or whatever.

If I could program anything other than my VCR this would be the first thing I'd do.  Does anyone
have any suggestions on this?  I find that my Orbiter experience is vastly improved by playing
tunes that enhance my imagination....

Start Winamp and then start Orbiter.  That's what I do.

Yeah, but that's like starting up your boombox and towing it along behind your car by a rope :)  I
was hoping for buttons to push on an MFD.  Like a car stereo, but for the DG3 :)

I'm actually pretty lucky, because I have a seperate computer right next to me networked. So I
play Orbiter on the good computer, then I can use Winamp, my TV card, internet, chat, etc on the
other one. I simulate an uplink by pointing the DGIII's dish at ground targets as they go past, or
just at the moon which then links eventually back to earth :) Very nifty.
