Hello to all,

Special thanks to Dan for the sound module and the DG series.

I just installed the latest version of Orbiter and the new DGIII (alpha).

I have managed to convert the default scenario of DGIII at KSC to be at a completely power off
state exept from the "Inner Door" switch that is at a state "closed"

Does anyone knows how I turn the "Inner Door" switch and the door to open ?

Thanks,

Kostas B

No way to make the inner door really open. It isn't modeled in the .msh file to open. The only
opening it does is just lights on the panel.

If you want you can leave the cockpit canopy open for access and then power the DG III up and
open the doors for crew loading. Of course you won't see the inner door open then either but
doing it this way leaves you some access to the ship.

Are you sure?  The inner door opens on mine (040201 Rev1), revealing some sort of small room
behind it, presumably the suit storage locker or some such.  It definitely animates.

Acehunter,
I think this needs a bit of temporal perspective.  This thread, and the response you just answered
are older than 040201 Rev1.
Meaning, you and Matt are both right.  The DGIII does have an inner door NOW, but it didn't then.

Just thought I'd point that out.  :)

Later,
Tony

Yep, I answered that probably a couple days before Dan went and made a liar out of me. :)
