I'm new to orbiter so, this might be a stupid question
But, i just spent a bit of time downloading most every orbiter addon i coudl find that intrested me..
something like.. 2 gigs worth.
and i can get them all to work but the sound addon

with everythign set to the right folders..
and. tuning the radio mfd to the right freq.. i get -no- sound, aside fomr the basic, engine sounds,
and what not.. Alt sounds.. speed..stuff liek that, but the addon sounds.. specific for certian
missions, or. the .. i forget its name, just a classical music addon, to listen to while exploring a
system.. non of those work...

Perhaps i'm misreading instuctions somewhere?..

Can i get any help with this please?..
Thank you

Hello,

Some question:
1- when you tune the radio MFD do it say "com status off (bad frequency)" ?
2-are the add-on sound located in ".../Sound/radio/xxx.xxx name of add-on"
3-if you list the frequency available in the radio MFD (SHF-D key) does those add-on
frequency appear in the list ?

the Com status is listed as being on

The addons are located as you'vce typed it up.. " Sound/radio/ect ect..

Yes, when i look at the avaliable freq's, it shows them .. xxx.xxx "station name".. as such..

ITs probably somethign stupid on my part thats messing up, or.. not workign right.. and.. if so, i
apologize.. But.. i do thank you for the help,

No problem,

Does the frequency appear when you press SHF-D ? (list all available frequency)

if not and the folder containing sound appear in the radio folder try to shorten
the name of the frequency I know there is some problem when the name is
too long...

So if you got something like "657.345 my name is very long"
change it to "657.345 test bug"   of whatewer but perhaps
with 10 character max.

I treid the shortening of the folder name, and that worked like a charm.. takes a few minutes to
load teh sounds up and start playing them, but they play fine now ..
