you may be aware of this, but the DG2 cant refuel if the ISS is in as a station and not a ship, as in
the default GSNDO scenarios, there anyway around this?

Sorry , no workaround, as stated by martin
old "station" will be dropped in future release
of Orbiter so programming for them is a "no no"

then, meanwhile, how can i stick the lunar wheel station into your scenario's? im not sure how to
convert its orbit numbers to normal ship parameters

to you.... but this tips was given in the official Orbiter's
forum (hard to search there I know.... )

ah well, for now i just stuck another ISS in lunar orbit using the location MFD (200k/200k/45'inc)
probably not the best orbit for a transfer point, but it works if you can inject right into it.
