Seems like your forum is a bit empty.
I'm trying to break that trend now, and in the meantime thanking you for the new addon! :)
I really like the panel and it's sound, especially when opening fuel hatch on ground. ;)

Anyway this forum seems quite alright.
Keep it up wiz! :D

Seb:

The official language is english for now but if the forum grow too much I will split it in more forum (ie: "orbiter", Add-on", "french forum" etc. etc.) Usually it's a bad idea to mix language in the same forum.

I had writting a long post for sound problem last night but then the Orbiter's official forum was down :grrr: I will post it here tonight.

Of course welcome:     :)

Dan:

Will you post the link to download the lattest G-sndo at this forum as well? When the Orbiter forum goes down we 're at a loss to get your download.

BTW: Why don't you link to it from your website? I'm curious.

the link is on the first page in the news "G-SNDO" (click on direct download)
And the reason is that it's still a beta version when it will be completed I plan to add a special page to it.

Thanks for this forum. It's very necessary to have channels to speak.

I tested your Deltaglider-II and works fine. It's a pleasure to fly, but with NavMFD, I've seen that the sounds are a little changed, as example, the main engine sound like an alarm and the fuel truk sound like a UFO. I know that NavMFD is a little outdated, and I'm trying to use yor glider with TransX, because I'm going to the Moon (and beyond) and I need a navigator. When I test this one, I'll post the results.

When you release the final version of this ship, you should think about do the same work with other ships... I think the life suport is an extraordinary improvement to the realism of Orbiter, as your orbitersound.dll did months ago.

Ah! I have my crew already alive after three orbital flights in the same scenario. Some of these days, I'll finally learn to fly, hehe!

Greetings

Hello Hispaorbiter,

(btw your formerly name was nice also)

glad to have you onboard don't forget to fasten your seat belt:

:friend: :drunk:

(Perhaps it's not all about belt finally :) )

A question, DO the seatbelt have any effect in G-SNDO, or is it just for fun? ;)
I have managed to go to mir with the autopilot, works like a dream.
Will try a transfer to the moon, then perhaps, perhaps mars.
It takes awhile, so I will do it when I get the time. :D
Thanks for the beer, I'm honored to be the first in this magnificent forum of yours.

Best of luck, :)

Not for now but the idea stay in the air... what I can do is to reduce the resistance to about 2-3 G only so they can suffer injury or even death with a smaller amount of G.

Anyhow.. thanks for the deltaglider!

the Imsick forum is back online....
And I tried the tips you told me about Dan for the sound, it didn't work and my sound is still messed up...I deleted the Hires texture, all the DGII sounds, to no avail...I don't know what to do...Maybe I should switch to DirectX8.1 from 8.0??? :(

Sorry to not be of much help seb but I think something is really screwed up
with your configuration even my p400 have better framerate than yours.

I've heard that there is some problem on win2000 so you may try to install dx8.1
(I do not know nothing about dx9)  or perhaps it's a driver problem ?

about others game running well don't forget Orbiter use Dx7... I will more think
about a driver problem....  perhaps you may try a search on
:google: with  "win2000 game dx7 driver configuration trouble" etc etc

Anyways installing dx8.1 seem the first step for me.

Hope you will be able to resolve this

Dan

Thinking about it it's normal... NavMFD use my sound SDK so when it load it replace some sound
of the Glider with it's hown....

That's wy

Great job on the forum. Thank you for the amazing Delta Glider II. I am enjoying it
greatly. I just launched from KSC, and nailed the Rinc to .05 degrees on orbit using the ascent
autopilot. 17.6% fuel remaining before rendezvous.
Thanks again,

Using autopilot ? or manual flying ?

I didn't pay attention to fuel consumption
but perhaps we can start a contest......

writing an autopilot script that will put you
with the more fuel possible at MECO

min: 200km+ altitude
start: KCS
max: ECC 0.0005

And of course , welcome   :drunk:   :)

   Dan,
I used the ascent autopilot for L.E.O. in that flight, I just carefully timed my launch. pretty lucky
shot, I guess. Twicw this has enabled me to rendezvous ON ASCENT, using the docking H.U.D. at
the top of ascent, and docking less than one orbit from launch! Pretty hot, if I say so myself.
I have removed the MJD from the scenario on the KSC runway, so when it starts it's "real time".
This adds a random element to it, and I power up the glider, and choose which azimuth to use,
then wait for the orbit of the target to pass over the cape. While waiting, I chat with my
passengers, who are my girlfriend, plus Milla Jovovich, Gabby Reece, and Jamie Lee Curtis. Your
next add-on must incorporate a fully realistic, "clickable" (heHe!) 3d VR interior for the glider, fully
textured, supporting tactile feedback. I hope perspiration and a little saliva don't overload the
environmental support systems. I know that with your programming skills, within a couple of
weeks, I can turn OFF the seatbelt sign, and let the fun begin in microgravity! My girlfriend might
get a little jealous, but she is more beautiful than the rest of the passengers, so she should be ok
with it. I am old and feeble, having bought my first pc in 1981. It had 2K of r.a.m.. For this reason I
have not yet begun to experiment with re-entry. With the passenger list as it is, this just may be
because I DON"T WANT TO GO HOME!

Oh man....all girl jokes aside, I can't believe I didn't realize the bit about being able to play Orbiter
in "real time" by removing the MJD from the scenario file!!!!!!  I just tried it, and I think that aside
from specific scenarios that require a certain time (like the 1999 Solar Eclipse default Orbiter
scenario), this idea adds a LOT of extra realism to the sim!

Where was I when the memo on this went out??? :stupid:

The problem is that vessel orbits are not defined by elements, I think, but rather by pos-vel
vectors.  Calculation of vectors from elements is rather straightforward, but the opposite is not
true.  Therefore, not having a set MJD in the scenario does something about vector propogation,
so the accuracy of an orbit is quite a ways off if done this way.  Or something.  (In the manual, it
says one should not leave MJD dates blank, as vectors are difficult to propogate over time.)
