Dear Sir,

I have downloaded Orbiter, and Moon texture From the website

http://orbitersimulator.com/
http://www.orbithangar.com/search_quick.php?text=moon&submit.x=0&submit.y=0

How to Make Orbiter to recognize these textures, are these textures with very high resolution, with craters, boulders etc...?
Any additional external graphics card/ software required for these textures to display properly. I am having normal Intel Graphics card, my OS is windows 7 and system is Dell PC Inspiron.

Is it possible for Moon to be simulated at Higher resolution (with craters, rocks, boulders etc...)

How to disable MFD display, in my field of view I want only Moon to be visible in the field of view, whenever I require can I enable/ disable display ?

My aim is to design a trajectory of landing on Moon from 100kms altitude above Moon is it possible???? so that I get varying image of moon with crater (a sort of Moon surface simulation from 100kms to landing)

Thanks and Regards
Arpana A

The higest resolution that it can provide is Level 15 but thats for localized area, so I dont reccomend having a Level 15 planet texture.

Boulders are not featured yet, neither is 3d topography but Artlav has made an addon calle ORULEX which adds 3d terrain. Meshland also provides colission detection with the terrain.

Have fun
