Too many connections at the time was the culprit. Vash was aware of the problem and made some changes. Looks like it hasn't gone down since then.

Yep it is down while Vash performs some maintenance on the server itself. You will notice both O-F and OH are down for the

The server's been down most of the day today.  According to Vash, the hosting facility is experiencing an outage -- nothing
he can do.

The Orbiter IRC is now also effectively unreachable... the irc.orbithangar.com redirect is also not visible anymore, as long as you have been connected it still works since the IRC operates over an independent server.

Orbiter-Forum is rarely down... and when it is it's usually back up fairly quickly
