Forty years ago today Neil Armstrong walked on the moon. First person on the moon.

That was IMHO the greatest stepping stone that the human race has ever did in that time. Im glad that we are celebrating this

So ... how many of us saw it the first time around?

I did.  When I was 11.  As impressed now every time I see the old images as I was then.

I havent seen the landing sadly. I was at least 17 years before I exist. but one of my relatives did see the landing on TV
