I need to land at Olympus base, but on the VOR/VTOL MFD, my yellow (current direction) and green(bases direction)
arrows are not alined. How do I make these two lines overlap so I am heading for the base?

I don't use that MFD, but enjoy similar problems with Phobos 3D  8)

1. The Olympus base is on Mars, on the Moon there is Brighton Beach.

2. It depends on whether you want/accept to loose some velocity or not. Orient your ship so that on VOR/VTOL the
direction to the base is exactly to the left/right and the velocity vector is below it. This means that if the velocity
is on the right side of the direction to the base, rotate left until the direction to the base is to your right and do the
opposite if the velocity is no the left side. Then burn main engines until they are aligned. If you do not want to loose
speed, rotate until the velocity is due right/left and during the burn rotate your ship to keep it there.
