Can't access the server from here, it seems to be down, but had no notice that maintenance was planned.

Yes, it looks like it's down. Maybe someone got supprised by the traffic and closed it. I hope not. It would be really a
bad setback. BTW, where is it hosted ?

M6, then O-F...WHAT'S NEXT!? THE ENTIRE INTERNET!? LOL, ok, a bit extreme, but it does seem lately that orbiter is
trying to be sabotaged :P

Looks like Orbiter-Forum.com is down or there is a network failure somewhere. Haven't been able to access orbiter-
forum.com for last 18 hours.

This is strange.  I have still no access in orbiter-forum.com. Have thay banned my IP.  :wonder:

IP of the orbiter-forum.com seems to be 209.62.36.8 unless there is a DNS failure. Could it give wrong IP for the
domain name.

The IP address 209.62.36.8 is correct and there does not seem to be a general problem with orbiter-forum. Check out
http://just-ping.com/index.php?vh=www.orbiter-forum.com

Can you ping it from your computer?

It's working now.  Obviously there was a network failure in a "hop" 11

I almost thought they banned me out.

Is it that someone doesn't like Orbiter?
Or is it that someone does not like internet websites?
To me it is unclear why some people like to destroy, while creating is the ultimate challenge.

Hey guys, sorry I just saw this thread. To my knowledge the forum wasn't down on the days discussed here,
however if it happens again I would first suggest running a spot check here:

http://alertra.com/spotcheck.php

If the spot check fails to load the site, then you can confirm the site is down, however if it's loading on spot check, but
not from your machine/ISP then the problem is either locally on your connection or surrounding areas.

Most Respectfully,
Tex.

Sorry for bumping this old thread, but for me it appears to be down now? SpotCheck also results an error.

regards,
mcduck

Confirmed. Got some weird mutant of the front-page up earlier, but probably just a browser cache or some such.

It is almost down for me (60-80% loss) and down for many other locations, but strange enough, alertra says Oklahoma gets good
responses.

OrbiterWiki is currently down, most likely connected to the recent events in the internet.
