Can't access the server from here, it seems to be down, but had no notice that maintenance was planned.

Yes, it looks like it's down. Maybe someone got supprised by the traffic and closed it. I hope not. It would be really a
bad setback. BTW, where is it hosted ?

IP of the orbiter-forum.com seems to be 209.62.36.8 unless there is a DNS failure. Could it give wrong IP for the

The IP address 209.62.36.8 is correct and there does not seem to be a general problem with orbiter-forum. Check out

Can you ping it from your computer?

It's working now.  Obviously there was a network failure in a "hop" 11

I almost thought they banned me out.

Is it that someone doesn't like Orbiter?
Or is it that someone does not like internet websites?
To me it is unclear why some people like to destroy, while creating is the ultimate challenge.

Hey guys, sorry I just saw this thread. To my knowledge the forum wasn't down on the days discussed here,
however if it happens again I would first suggest running a spot check here:

http://alertra.com/spotcheck.php

If the spot check fails to load the site, then you can confirm the site is down, however if it's loading on spot check, but
not from your machine/ISP then the problem is either locally on your connection or surrounding areas.
