Yes, M6 strikes again.  The Forum is once again down as of 0110 MDT, 24 Aug 2007.

We choose to run Oribiter sims, not because they are easy, but because they are hard.

That not right. We only do it while waiting for M6 to get off their collective ass and do something.

Yes, both the main Orbiter page and the forum are down this time.  M6 downtime is back with a vengeance...

Only the forum is down. The true URL for the Orbiter site is this: http://orbit.medphys.ucl.ac.uk/
www.orbitersim.com and http://orbit.m6.net is just redirection URLs for http://orbit.medphys.ucl.ac.uk/.

What's not right?  When M6 is down, you have plenty of choices. :damn:

PHPBB is a forum software, M6.net is web hosting service provider! So not the same thing!

I've got a theory that M6 is run by some extremely busy people in their spare time.

That does not fit to the theory of modern management by delegation:

If you want something done, delegate it to somebody who is already busy.

My theory is: M6 is run by the same kind of managers, who run former government agencies, which are now turned into
commercial enterprises. Like the DB (German railways). They work hard for improving their profits...by letting their
infrastructure and their main cash cows (for the railways: The regional traffic) deteriorate.
