I may sound dumb with this but when I try to land at a base I never deorbit right how can I deorbit right it there a mfd

It isn't dumb at all. Try Aerobrake MFD. The map will update you on where your exact landpoint is at any given time in your
descent, and you can adjust your pitch and bank to reach the desired landing area.

DGIV still pitches at 5 degree increments, so you will be very busy in the lower atmosphere trying to fine tune the descent.

Aerobrake is really good to show your path trough the atmosphere. But nothing is better than basesync for precise
deorbiting burn! You have to know the correct values to enter in the deorbiting screen (shift-b) but a little "search"
on the forum should help to find them!
