So, I set up the transfer mfd for lunar insertion from low earth orbit. My delta-V is 3,140 m/s. I input 3.140 km/s into the
appropriate place in the burntime mfd, and I set the time of the burn to 1,000 seconds and wait for the time field in the
transferm mfd to hit 1,000 seconds...I then press the arm button on the burntime mfd.

Ok, here's the problem. The timer (I think) correctly starts the countdown to burntime. However, immediately when the burn
begins, the delta-V indicated on the burntime mfd suddenly jumps from 3.140 km/s to over 5...wtf? It burns so long that I
don't get into my desired transfer orbit, but instead a hyperbolic orbit with respect to the earth. Please help; I've done
this like 5 times now with the same result. BTW, using the delta 3 glider.

Hm...just figured out that it wasn't detecting my ship properly. I had to fire a teeny burn in order for it to get the
correct engine parameters.
