That's incorrect.  You are a pillar of strength, one to be reckoned with.

With each useless reply, I become stronger.  Fear my abilities!

Talk about dramaqueen. Why do they need to make you happy? If you don't like it here, feel free to leave at anytime.

And Quick Nick is right: I have 3.5 years of forum moderating experience and I have never seeing a poster with the
attitude of yours. If you expect everyone to like you and your posts, then you're expecting waaaaaaay too much!

Edit:
I just wanted to add that when you're posting to a forum, you alone are responsible of your actions and posts. S you have to look after yourself. Nobody is going to do that for you.

ctmueller message was right and full of good advise (I wrote the message application
and I have access to messages of course, remember this is my forum)

And you are a noob because you act as a noob... probably you will stay a
noob as long as you don't decide to grow a bit.

For now I'm still not decided if you're really annoying or funny, depend
other users comment also remember I can decide to  ban you from
this place if you annoy to much peoples.

My today's advice: keep some refreshing stuff but grow a bit please,
this is NOT your place, you are my guest here so don't spit on my
carpet.

Thanks

Dan

I stopped being worried about being hated when I discovered that even if I do my best some people will hate me anyway.
I stopped being worried when I discovered that those who hated me also hate other people, so I am not alone.
I stopped being worried about it when I discovered that I stay because of those who like me instead of those who hate me.

So I do my best and if someone hates me it's their problem.
Those who hate are those who feel bad.
You shouldn´t feel bad about having people who hates you.
Internet is a place where many people hates each other.

Do you want to know the trick to be happy?

In Iraq people worries are about being alive.  Hate there means you are dead.
Here where we live hate means nothing, we worry about a scratch in the car.
So no matter what we always have problems.
We are taught that lack of problems is happiness, but we always have problems, so by definition we can't be happy.

But have you thought what could happen if "happiness is what we do while we have problems"?
When we see things that way, problems don´t look that big.

When you are between 15 and 24 years, chemical changes in your body causes you to be depressed.
When you understand it, you understand your depression is not real, so you have a chance to enjoy life even under a certain
level of depression.

When we have problems we have 3 options:
1.Solve the problem
2.Enjoy the problem, learn from it.
3.Complaining about the problem without solving and without enjoying it.  This is the option of unhappiness. So you better
choose one of the other two.

Hope it helps.

>>>>PLEASE READ ALL OF THE BELOW! IT SHOULD REALLY HELP YOU! ALL OF IT! PATIENCE!<<<<

>>>>PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE READ IT!!!<<<<

jer, I am sorry but it is all for your own good. I will find you and BEAT the noobness out of you if I have to.(okay,
maybe not) You will reach success in Orbiter and social life if you just learn a few things. I know you are young, and
that makes things SO much harder. A few things to learn:
Patience - Take things slow. Have a problem in Orbiter? Take the time to search around or find a solution yourself. If
you have to post, do it right. Don't expect fast responses all the time. Explain things. Try to use correct grammer. In
time you will learn a more 'mature' way of writing/typing things and will actually mature overall. Don't use time
acceleration for things like launch to orbit and reentry. Here is how it works: You use realtime-You have success with
joy. You use time acceleration-You don't make it at all. Rushing doesn't always get things done faster, sometimes it
just makes things not happen at all. Take ar81s advice! Don't take things too hard. Be tough! NEVER let comments
get you sad, and try not to get too angry. If someone makes a bad comment, learn from it. Fix yourself. In time, you
may not think so now, and you probably can't even quite imagine it, but you should mature a lot and figure things out. You will find that patience and toughness are very important in life, not just Orbiter. Don't quit Orbiter from what someone says about you. Orbiter helped me a lot. I was quite a noob a couple of years ago and still sort of am, but I have learned a lot. I have found the hard way that patience is key. In more time I learned that the lessons I've learned in Orbiter apply to life in general. Orbiter can help your whole life. I think I would have been much more 'ignorant' if I hadn't found Orbiter, not to say that someone who doesn't use Orbiter is stupid. I can help you if you want me to. I can help you learn and 'speed up the process' in a sense. I am young like you. I am 13 years old. I waited about a YEAR of using Orbiter before I figured things out. It just came with aging and experience. Experience of countless failures and found success. I can set you on the right track to learn all that you need so you can get an earlier start than me and have more chance of success. Starting big things early can really help. Computerex is about the same age as me and he knows C++ and is making AMAZING addons. I think he will have a lot of success in the future for his early start.
EDIT: One more thing: I know another young, what you could call 'noob.' He MIGHT be able to help you as you have the same views. He is NBH. He is learning. *Sorry to call you a noob NBH.* You'll find him more on the main forums. But I'm not sure if it'd help or make things worse. I think I can help you though.

>>>>PLEASE READ ALL OF THE ABOVE! IT SHOULD REALLY HELP YOU! ALL OF IT! PATIENCE!<<<<

>>>>PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE READ IT!!!<<<<

Dan - Think before deciding. I think he may be able to learn a few more things from other members easier if you keep this open. If you lock it I will contact him through PM but it won't be an open conversation for everyone to help him. He is young and this is serious. He isn't just spamming, this is him.

I knew it would help.
But nothing in this life is free.
The price you must pay is to help other people and spread happiness.

Orbiter is hard. I just got to the point where I could write my default configuration file to default to the internal Vessel
implementation, whereas before I was using Vinka's spacecraft3. Now I'm just getting ready to recompile the default PBShuttle and start writing my own functions. It took me a whole week just to get the compiler stuff straightened out, and I've been at this for a month now, in my spare time, plus dozens of actual flights a day. I haven't even begun the 3D modeling, other than researching all the programs, tools and utilities, and getting them loaded and configured on a development system. Learning Orbiter is a major research effort, and I already knew all of the basic physics and the astrodynamics. Learning Orbiter is something like learning FORTH. You basically have to start from scratch.

Today I just went into my first hard core computer gamer's hardware shop, to look at some of the big stuff.

I want more FPSs.

So jer11 is young...
From the age of 15 to the age of 24 our bodies suffer chemical changes.
Such changes cause depression in some degree, so we see problems bigger than they are.
If one day you feel your world is about to colapse, don´t worry, it is natural at this age.
Me and some other millions of people in the world have felt it.

Socializing during teen age is hard, for teens have some natural selfishness because they don´t understand themselves, so
they won´t understand you.  And as people grow, some people never left teen age and keep behaving as if they were teens.
The adult world doesn´t offer mentoring very often.
But even under such conditions one can survive.

Happiness is not something that depends on how much people love us or hate us.
It depends on how we see life.  If there is a thunder storm outside, can you feel inner peace?  Yes.  So the same happens
with external problems and happiness.  happiness is internal.

Socializing is a tough process, you will make mistakes, everyone has made mistakes.
People will push you about being popular.  Now that I am an adult I just wonder why those popular guys are working as clerks
while I am an engineer.  They pushed me to do things adults do, to have sex and so.  Now they have kids, some of them are
divorced, while now I am having a girlfriend after some years of not having one, and she is special, mature and loving.  We
are waiting for the proper moment in the future to have kids, but not yet.  So all those pressures I felt when I was a teen
gave me a headache, but life isn´t as they painted it.

Have you noticed that you are cool with people you trust?  So why is that one has so much problem to socialize?  It is not
that you are not the social type, or is it that you don´t feel comfortable with some people?

Also be aware that our families creae some emotional needs in us, and sometimes we try to compensate them and look for love
outside.  Some people outside is not willing to take care of you, they have your own problems, and relying on them adds them
some pressure.  They simply have too many problems and they never learned to be mentors.

But you jer11, have proved me that you are a cool guy.  And I bet you will take this advise and will learn to be happy.

People usually met similar people, and as you become a better person, and as you learn to distinguish who is a snake and who
is a real friend (which is often a painful process) you will surround with special people you can count on for advise.

Be advised that having friends is not easy.  Sometimes we just want to fit and we pick he wrong friends.  It is better to
have one or two good friends than having many sneakypeople as friends.  A friend helps you to be better person, he cares
about your welfare and won´t get you into trouble.  That's how you will recognize a nice friend from a so called friend.

Also, as you like people from the opposite sex, many tears may come because we have the wrong idea of love.  But that's
another story I could discuss with you later, so you can save some of those and live happier.
