Hello,

For those who don't know me, I'm Christine, Daniel's wife

I just wanted to inform you that Daniel is at hospital since the end of the afternoon. He fell badly and broke his leg at
two different parts. After having waited for some long and painful hours, we left him since he was going to be driven
to the hospital in Geneva, he's due to be operated this night.

If you want to leave him a support message, I'm sure it will help him, I'll print them and bring them along to hospital
tomorrow afternoon.

Christine

Broke his leg :(  ..... see I told him the responce time on those retractable hover rockets were too slow and someone
would get hurt! Darnit .... :)

I'm sure he'll tell us all about it when he returns .. but in the mean time .... I hope the pain goes away quickly....
watch out for the iching later on ... it's a killer I hear!! How long did they say you'd be in a cast? If I remember 2-4
months depending on how bad the breaks are.

Ouch!

Bummer... I can only imagine what an awful experience breaking a leg is...

You will be in my thoughts sir. I'll be checking this forum for updates on your condition.

Best wishes,

Sebastian "LTD_Grazer" Rust

P.S.

I've been flying the standard DG around the Earth as fast as I can (just under 2 hours game-time) over and over. I
think I made at least 5 or 6 full trips today (just under an hour real-time).

My buddy gave me the "Top 500 Rock & Roll Songs" in MP3 format. I picked out 14 for my orbitersound_playlist.m3u.
Since I run at x10 speed for about 7.5 minutes of the flight (two songs) it takes me about 50 minutes (real-time)
from "throttle on" to "full stop". It took me awhile to get the right songs in the right order. I had to do the first 17.5
minutes of the flight quite a few times to get my 5th song to end just after I do my short burn at apogee.

My launches are getting more controlled each time. Having the same music play every time helps me with my timing
and really helps me realize when I am getting more efficient (I will have to adjust my playlist as I get better). On my
last full trip, which I completed a few minutes ago, I conducted my best re-entry and landing ever... also, I made my
final approach and landing just as song 13, "The Boys Are Back In Town" was playing... perfect :)

Very sorry to hear about your injury Dan,

I hope you recover soon. And dont even think about worrying about the DGIV or some other projects. It's just a
hobby, and it can wait.

Same as everyone here, I can only hope that his operation will be succesfull, and that there will be
no long-lasting effects. I have much experience with fractures, and, however its been years ago, up
to this day, I sometimes still have concequences... However, I can predict the weather now with it ...

I send you my best regards Dan, and a fast recovery!

Aw Man... Sorry to hear about the very painful and inconvenient injury.

I hope it was while doing something really fun and cool to remember it by, like taking a huge aerobatic jump off one of
the elite swiss ski slopes and not just taking out the trash and slipping down some wet stairs.
Rest up Good!  I wish I had a laptop to send you, Dan.
