Don't get me wrong, Orbiter is the best space sim i've ever used, but there's something missing, Artificial Intelligence
(AI), you see, with AI added in there would be other ships in space besides you sibgle solitary spacecraft, there would never
be a boring moment or alone feeling again! Not only that, but with another orbitersound extension and AI chat and player chat
addon we could communicate with the other ships! Then it would be mostly realistic. With a cargo trading addon we could also
trade cargo and with a cargo trade animation that addon would be complete. I just think it would be cool.

Hovercraft left unattended will be vaporized. The white zone is for loading and unloading of life-forms only.

Look at the front page. Multiplayer program is in the news. Much better than AI.

You can have other craft flying at the same time
You can eaven have them under AI control ( RedShift )

but space is vast and dark finding them- getting close to see them - and docking with them takes time
aand effort

Apart from multiplayer (which I believe is still mostly in beta), you can also get a few addons that "simulated" AI, by
automatically moving other craft around. Best examples are:
- Autopilot MFD (this one is REALLY awesome)
- Redshift MFD (may not work with the latest version of Orbiter, not without some tinkering anyway)

both should be available here: www.orbithangar.com.

Autopilot MFD :)

Here: http://www.orbithangar.com/searchid.php?ID=1468

If you also add this, it's even more fun, BUT you need a few extra addons to use it:

I know this is a bit off topic but can the autopilot fly you to the moon.

I think one of the scenarios does exactly that.. not sure if it's the base autopilot package or the additional flight plans
though.

Well, I've never used one, but you should find a couple at Orbithangar, otherwise pop over to simcosmos site and check in his
Orbinauts, Tools section.

But really, it is so simple to do it manually that that is the best way. Take a look at the directory structure of a clean
install of Orbiter. Most of us, especially addon developers, have two or more Orbiter installations, for different purposes.

I don't understand your problem.
Try to explain a little more if you want a answer....
It's not easy to help you precisely if we don't understand your problem.

You ask of a "good addon installer"... The better is Winzip or Unzip.. look inside the addon zip file with it.. You 'll see
that files are in folders.. and that folders are the same you can find in the orbiter directory.. OK ?
So you take files one by one from your zip archive to the orbiter directories.
;)
