And I would like Ground textures, because when I do an EVA, I have the impression to walk on a paper. Not espacially 3D ground, but textures when we do an EVA.

I write English so bad that you recognized I was French?
Sure, 3d mesh is the best thing that we can have for ground, but before it could be done, I think that ground textures are very easy and fast to do for each body of the solar system. But maybe I'm wrong. Is it difficult and long to do 3d mesh for each body?
There is an addon out therethat replaces Mars with a 3d mesh (sadly, of course, we don't have collision detection to make this one a true challenge).Running the DG3 down the various sections of the Valles Marineris was a blast!*--*Irregular surface and irregular solid collision detection*--*I would like that orbiter detect collision with orbital stations or objects like Phobos or Deimos
I'm not sure how difficult is to MAKE a 3d mesh for a planet, but it's certainly a difficult programming task to make it viable for visualisation in a precisely calculating real-time application. However, the flight sims prove us that this is possible to a certain extent. I wonder, if it's possible to use a set of mergeable meshes of different detail levels, like it has been done with the textures in the current Orbiter?
