Yup. Still, welcome aboard McDuck

Update. Seems Martins website was not compromised. You are free to download form the Main site, but don't
trust the links on the main forum which your usual prudence should tell you anyway.

Cheers,

I asked Atom and he said it meant: Atom Instructor Astronaut in Russian. :)
I am confused, was Martin's site hacked or not? :doubt: And I know about the Probe, that which must be hailed,
but who are the Mighty Merans?

Somebody (i think it was DocHoliday) made a typo and started a religion. He meant to say "means" but instead he
typed "merans" and it all started from there.  The forum was hacked, but we're not sure if the website was or not.
As a precaution, we're assuming it was hacked.

Eh? I don't remember that. Do you have the post URL.. ? It would be interesting if the "probe" cult actually originated
here. There are regular "prayers" now on the main forum :) :)

His forum password was stolen, but not the one to access the website. Meaning someone could post signed as
Martin, but they would not be able to change www.orbitersim.com contents. Of course if someone were to post:
"Hi all,
I finally completed new Orbiter release. Get it at www.your-computer.willbe/bythislink

martins"

People would actually download whatever this link would decide to give them :)

No, it's meant to say Instructor Pilot Atom. I was preparing for my promotion you see. I used Babelfish so if it's wrong
blame Babel Fish. It's in russian cos I like the language and hope to learn it some day. There you go, a good old traditional
explanation.

A traditional explanation, and a good one at that.

Is the main forum down? Maybe this is a result of the "hijacking" ?
