GUPT FAQ Part 1:

Q: WTF is the GUPT?

A: The GUPT is the "Grand Useless Post Thread". It's traditionally opened by the forum member McBrain.
It's reserved for useless post only.

Q: Can I post useless pictures here?

A: Please post pictures only if you think it's badly necessary.

It's not uploaded yet. It's a pic from my site. Look at the "News" section.

It'll be part of a bigger addon I'm planning: Mars 2100

Could you please translate, it doesn't seem to be the anglo saxon I am used to.  To which letter does the 2nd * refer?
I thought McBrain was pointing out mildly to Doc's deliberately provocative question:-

Station :) Until then I'll go with the Hammerhead Shipyards :)

In response to Doc's last post in the now defunct GUPII, after a lot of effort I found the addon he refered to. Yuck! I
don't like the rainbow "magic" (?!?) shuttle I don't really like the colour pink all that much.

My FAB1 was an act of 'homage' to the Thunderbirds by basing the repaint on Lady Penelope's rolls.

Shall I do a Thunderbird 2 skin? Or Thunderbird 3,4,1. etc. :)
I'm thinking of doing a McDonalds skin some time in the near future, maybe once I'm back from tour. Who thinks
that's a good idea? :wonder:

For those who don't know (probably all of you), Jimmy Saville was a well known DJ who's now famous for supporting
charities. You could probably try a :google: search.

Hehe, I kinda look wierd in that pic, oh well. :pfff: Another pic with me in a bow tie.

Theoretically, you have no rights  also theoretically, the authority is absolute

[philosophy]

I merely raise "H-E-double hockey sticks" to ensure that everybody realizes what a corrupt system that is in place here. ;) I know that in reality, we have no rights anywhere nowadays. If I was to refuse to give my name to a police officer that pulled me over for no reason here in america, they can arrest me. If I state that I have rights and they can't do that, they get suspicious and turn into "Grade A" A***O*Es That are out to get me. a squeeky wheel gets the oil, and If I make loud noises, then maybe I can be a catalyst in a movement that can do pretty much anything. If you rase a ruckus, you tend to get people's attention on the matter and maybe get some changes done, usually for the better. :)

I just can't sit still and let you moderate us into submission. ;) If anybody can make a revolution in a dictatorship, it
would be the people who live/work in it: Us. :)

The truth is that there is no truth, therefore the truth that there is no truth is a lie. Therefore there is no truth.

Something I came up with in maths. Jiberish.

Point. But as you yourself noticed, people who rock the boat are usually pushed off. Often even by their compatriots..
There is such a thing as Ohm Law for the people. If you want to make change, agitating isn't enough, or rather cuts
the efforts short. Changes happen with slow and careful planning and acting. Something we young people try to
bypass. Something I've noticed even young nations as a whole sometimes try to bypass. IT would be nice if it
worked, but it doesn't. The resistence to change is greater than the resistence to the powers at be.

I am SO not a socialist! :)

I believe in a system where money is used as an influence to make people work harder.

if you make everybody work as their abilities let them but pay them equally, then the more talented people will
become lazy and not work as hard. that's human nature. It's too bad that the american system is more socialist than
most people think.

After all, what is SOCIAL security?  I looked up socialism in the dictionary and got:

Quote
Main Entry: so·cial·ism
Pronunciation: 'sO-sh&-"li-z&m
Function: noun
1 : any of various economic and political theories advocating collective or governmental ownership and administration
of the means of production and distribution of goods

Is not social security a method of (the government) taking money from those that work and giving it to old people
that can't? That sounds like they have quite a system going. eh? How many people knew this?

there's a big difference in my way of thinking and that of a socialist.

I took a test on a political compass site once, and I was almost entirely neutral on their chart. neither liberal nor
conservative,. etc, etc. I answered the questions honestly and I am very pleased that it turned out that way.

I probably seem like a socialist to a capitalist and vice versa.

*sigh*
