Dan`s addon not work in new Orbiter?

In time perhaps. The newest rendition of Orbiter is still beta software, not yet released as generally available. Perhaps, in order to be most effiecient with his valuable time, Dan is waiting for the final version to be released. Just guessing.

I would keep Dr Martin informed of when an add-on doesnt work. I believe he had expressed his intention to not have the new version break existing add-ons so maybe some legacy modes still need to be implemented.

This is why. Dan doesn't release add-ons for Beta copies.

Also, when you consider that we are up to, what? rev 42 of the Orbiter Beta ... and counting. What version would you have Dan write for? If you expect him to rewrite for every version, what would be a fair price for his excellent software?
I, for one, can wait. Good things come to those who wait.
