Title: Quick GOCE final orbit simulation
Post by: David413 on 11 November 2013, 04:35:07
Using the last published orbital elements for the GOCE spacecraft, here is a plain scenario to simulate the final pass.  This scenario uses the default LDEF satellite and will run under a plain Orbiter installation without any necessary addons.  Actual entry was around 00:00 GMT, 11/11/13.  This simulation shows impact somewhere in Antarctica.
