For a while I thought that Orbiter just was not fully compatible with my system but I was wrong. I always would use
the DGIII instead of the default delta glider. Orbiter would not just ctd but my entire computer would crash. Then I
just started flying the default delta glider and my computer works perfectly. What's the problem?
Also, I use Orbiter 2005 with the latest patch along with the hi-res textures.
I have Windows XP Media Center with SP2.
Thanks,
Brandon

I don't have that problem and my computer is weaker than your and I run Orbiter on 1024 X 768 and full visuals, Also
do you have the latest version of the DGIII.
-
I have the latest version of DGIII. DeltaGliderIII_2005_v2
I also have the Hi-Res textures for Orbiter 2005.
-
Did you install orbitersound3.0 first?
-
No, I installed the DGIII first if my memory serves me correctly.
Thanks
-
That might be the problem
-
I re-installed the whole thing. This time I installed orbitersound 3.0 first. Still, the DGIII is causing Orbiter and my
entire computer to crash.

Usual advice. Scan your Orbiter directories for empty files (0 bytes). If you find any, trash your Orbiter installation and
reinstall (redownload if you have to). Install OrbiterSound 3 first, then the DG3 and NO other addons. Test to see if it
still crashes. If it does, review the scenario files to see what meshes are being called for, and see if they are there.
Chances are a ship is missing or a texture is missing.
