Title: Vertical drift after external view (F1)
Post by: LeDude on 24 July 2011, 20:34:08
Hey Orbiternauts!

When I am in space with my DGIV and switch to external view, the DGIV immediatly starts to drift down vertically (Z-axis).
When I hit F1 20-30 times, the orbit visibly starts to deteriorate.

I am playing Orbiter and DGIV since years and did not have this bug.
Complete reinstall (Base, Orbitersound, DGIV) does not solve the problem.
Switching to Orbiter 2010 is not an option.

I am using Orbiter 2006 P1 and DGIV-V2

Does anyone know about this problem / a solution?

Thanks in advance and regards,

LeDude

Update:
- I am using Windows XP SP3
- The problem also occurs on a fresh Orbiter install on another computer (Windows 7) so it might be a SW bug in DGIV.

Is there a DGIV V1? If so, I'd like to test whether the problem occurs with that version. Where can I download DGIV V1?
