Hello orbiter fans,
The Orbiter Fan Map website is back online.

The idea was inspired by Dan's Orbinauts World Map ( http://orbinauts.dansteph.com/index.php ), but this one is based on
Google Maps. I created the site last year (or even earlyer?), but I had to put it offline, because it was on my university's
temporary host. We discussed this, and thought Google Maps was a better solution compared to the fixed map images on Dan's
page. I still plan to add additional (statistical) features like those on the Orbinauts worldmap.
Maybe it is not quite fair for Dan's Worldmap, but still I think the Orbiter Fan Map with Google Maps is a lot better than
the fixed map images on Dan's page (for example, see the crowded regions like Paris).
The problem is that all the people who are already on Dan's map would need to (if they want) do it again on the Orbiter Fan
Map. Anyhow, I am open to any comments or suggestions..
Although more than 100 orbiter fans are already on the map, France is still a big empty country.. Who will be the first!
