Aerobrake MFD - Article by zarb-dusk -  Aerobrake MFD is an add-on which you certainly heard spoken. It calculates according to your angle of attack, your speed, and your slope your destination.This do not have the claim to be a tutorial but I will have different the capacity from this instrument to you (and I let our Legends alive deepen to create a tutorial if you need some) Aerobrake MFD puts has our provision six pages of posting, “Path page”, “Graph page”, “Map projection” “Alt (titude)/Vel (ocity) graph ", “Lift and Drag page” and to finish “Autopilot response”. First of all this instrument is usable in lower part of 200 km, and I will present his various pages to you The principal page is “path page” the trajectory of your vessel around planet is posted.This sight can be enlarged on great levels of zoom to obtain details close to the point of landing or on small levels to see braking since a higher orbit. When an objective is selected, a yellow bar appears to show your relative position. The bar has a small cross at the top, for a fine alignment. “Graph page” shows graphics of the current trajectory. There are 2 projections: vertical with the graphs speed, altitude, deceleration and heat; and horizontal which is very similar to Map MFD.  “Map projection” shows the same data as graphics of the trajectory, the appearance of this page is similar to Map MFD, but the data are very different. The layout does not represent really an orbit but the true gliding flight that your vessel will make compared to its bearing pressure, its trail and of the rotation of planet.“Alt/Vel graph " is a graph obtained by the relation speed on altitude. For each altitude the speed is traced which the vessel will have at this altitude, usually more than one point as the vessel decelerates and oscillates. "Lift and Drag Page" has 2 graphs on the aerodynamic properties of the vessel. The data are collected during the flight and are stored for each angle of attack. "Autopilot response" is not really a page because it presents on all the other pages. These pages post the delta and the rate of exchange with the respect of the desired value. If the autopilot is gauged, you will obtain a spiral or a line moving towards the center, if not an erratic line escaping from the center If you use it to preserve your angle of attack and your slope do not activate any other autopilot because you will lose control because both will not have forcing the same reaction.
